Previously undefeated Oklahoma only fell from 5th to 9th after its 48-41 upset loss at Kansas State, and Auburn dropped from 9th to 14th after the 23-20 setback at LSU for its second loss of the season.

Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Alabama remained locked in to the 1-through-4 positions in the latest edition of the Congrove Computer Rankings (CCR Top 130) released within minutes of the conclusion of the final game of the week.

Nine unbeaten teams remain in the FBS, ranging from the American Conference's SMU at No. 20 to the top-ranked Buckeyes.

Penn State inched up from 6th to 5th with a 28-7 win at Michigan State, and idle Georgia took 6th.

Minnesota surged from 12th to 7th after running its record to 8-0 with a 52-10 stroll over Maryland.

Oregon, Oklahoma and Utah round the top ten.

Kansas State's upset win propelled the Wildcats back into the top 2, jumping 10 spots to land at 25th.

Idle Boise State also bounded back into the Top 25, but Appalachian State (8-0) remains the highest-ranked school from a Group of Five conference as the Mountaineers moved up from 18th to 17th. Idle Cincinnati (6-1) went from 21st to 19th, and SMU (8-0) rose from 23rd to 20th after a 34-31 win at Houston.

Idle Washington re-entered the Top 25 at No. 22.

Other significant movers were Michigan (16-to-13) following the 45-14 win over Notre Dame (11-to-16), and Iowa State (17-to-24) after a 34-27 loss at home to Oklahoma State.

Missouri plunged from 30-to-20 after getting whipped 29-7 at Kentucky, and Texas descended from 22-to-31 after a 37-27 loss to TCU.

Virginia sank from 22-to-33 as a result of its 28-21 loss to Louisville.

The Big Ten now has the most teams in the Top 25 with 6, all of which are ranked 18th or higher. SEC teams hold 5 spots, all of which are ranked 14th or higher. The Big 12 has 4 members and the PAC-12 has 3. The rest of the Top 25 is made up of 2 teams from the ACC, 2 from the American, and 1 team apiece from the Independents, Mountain West and Sun Belt.

UMass is no longer the best of the worst. The one-loss Minutemen had claimed the No. 130 spot in the Top 130 for 8 straight weeks, but they were overtaken by winless Akron.
