The CFP Playoff final 4 is selected by a panel of 13 members (reduced to 12 in 2014 and 2015 due to illness) who release weekly rankings in the back-half of the season, and ultimately seed the final 4 playoff teams as well as determine which teams will play in all of the New Year's Six bowls (Cotton, Fiesta, Orange, Peach, Rose and Sugar). |
