Georgia finishes the 2021 season ranked No. 1 in the Congrove Computer Rankings, released shortly after the completion of its 33-18 win over Alabama in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

The Congrove Computer Rankings are an officially recognized NCAA championship selector.

The Crimson Tide finishes 2nd, followed by Ohio State, and Cincinnati.

Michigan ranks 5th after entering the bowl season at No. 1, but the Wolverines were smacked 34-11 by Georgia in the semifinal in the Orange Bowl at Miami.

Notre Dame checks in at No. 6, with Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Louisiana (Lafayette), and Baylor rounding out the top ten.

Georgia was a mere 0.01-point computer favorite over Alabama in the championship game.
