We can not say the same thing, however, for James Madison. The Dukes went down to defeat, 26-23 in overtime, at the hands of Appalachian State on Saturday. The Dukes tied the game on a TD and 2-point conversion near the end of regulation, but only managed a field goal when they opened the extra period. The Mountaineers countered with a TD and the game was over. JMU had won 13 straight over-all. As a result, the Dukes took a mighty fall from 10th to 18th.

Liberty remained unbeaten with a 49-25 win over UMass in Lynchburg. The Flames also finally broke the Top 25, landing at No. 20 after ranking 26th a week ago.

The rest of the Top 9 continues to be Alabama, Oregon, Texas, and Penn State.

Louisville is up from 12th to 10th while Ole Miss stays at No. 11.

Missouri checks in at No. 12, followed by Oklahoma at 13.

At 14th and 15th are Brian Kelly's former team, and his current team, with the Bayou Bengals nosing out the Irish.

Three more schools from Group of Five conferences join JMU and Liberty in the Top 25 with Tulane leading the pack at 17th. There is also Toledo at No. 21, SMU at 22, and Troy at 25.
