September 13, 2020 by Staff

There is very little change in the Congrove Computer Rankings (CCR Top 77) released within minutes of the conclusion of Saturday's final game. As expected, Miami moved in and Iowa State dropped out while Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Oklahoma and Notre Dame continue to hold down the top 5.

Miami was 31-14 Thursday night home winner over UAB to move up slightly from 26th to 24th, while Iowa State plunged from 21st to 30th with a 31-14 home loss to Louisiana. The Ragin' Cajuns scoot up to 26th.

SEC teams continue to hold 7 of the top 11 spots and ACC teams occupy 7 of the top 19 positions.

The Big 12 has just 4 of its 10 members among the Top 29.

The state of Texas has 3 of the Bottom 5 teams. Of the 77 teams playing at the moment, UTSA is No. 73, while Texas State and UTEP are Nos. 76 and 77 respectively.
