College Football Playoff Committee Rankings - Nov. 16

The top seven teams are unchanged in the third set of rankings from the College Football Playoff Committee, released Tuesday night on ESPN. Georgia remains, as expected, the No. 1 team and is followed by SEC rival at No. 2 with Oregon and Ohio Stat rounding out the top 4. Cincinnati stays at No. 5, and Michigan remains in front of Michigan State despite its loss to the Spartans on the field.

Notre Dame, Oklahoma State and Wake Forest complete the top ten, in that order.

Auburn (17) and Purdue (19) fell out of the rankings after losses to Mississippi State and Ohio State, respectively.

Houston and Mississippi State enter the rankings at Nos. 24 and 25.

UTSA, from the Group of Five, is still the lowest-ranked undefeated team overall at No. 22.
