CCR Top 130 - Alabama Takes 1st; Virginia Tech Jumps to 7th

For the fifth time in as many weeks there is a new number 1 in the Congrove Computer Rankings (CCR Top 130) as Alabama leaps from 5th to 1st with its 59-0 blowout win at then-No.18 Vanderbilt.

Florida State started the season Number 1, but Penn State jumped to the top after the 'Noles lost to Alabama, The following week saw Oklahoma move into first with its win over Ohio State. Penn State inched its way back to No. 1 last week.

Following Alabama in this week's rankings are the Nittany Lions, the Sooners, Wisconsin and Clemson.

Washington moves from 7th to 6th, while Virginia Tech jumps from 10th to 7th.

8th through 10th go to USC, Washington State and Ohio State.

That gives the Big Ten and PAC-12 three teams each in the top 10 with the ACC taking 2 spots. The SEC and Big 12 have 1 each.
