Each week, Mike Mitchell examines the computer's picks and selects those which he believes have the best chance of being correct. Lines in parenthesis are the opening lines as reported at Later lines are used in the event of a "pick 'em" opening. The Congrove Computer Rankings' pick is shown outside the parenthesis. The HOME TEAM is in CAPS. You can research the computer's performance with each team and conference with the Team-By-Team Picks Tracking data. An explanation of how the computer's SU and ATS wins and losses are scored can be found at Weekly Picks Help.

The computer likes the favorite with room to spare.

Saturday, December 14
Navy (-10) by 14.18 over Army (at Philadelphia) - The computer trend favors the 7-4 Midshipmen by 20.20 over the 3-8 Black Knights in the greatest rivalry game in college football. Armed Forces personnel stationed at bases all over the world will be tuned in to root for their branch of the military. If you've never watched it, do so. It is a spectacle to be behold.

Unfortunately for those rooting for the boys from West Point, it looks like the U.S. Naval Academy's winning streak in the series will stretch to 12 games and the Midshipmen will cut the overall gap to 50-57-7. Navy's current streak has already lasted longer than any streak in the series by either team.
Navy won 34-7. The computer won SU, won ATS.

The computer likes the favorite, but by fewer points than the oddsmakers.

2013 Regular Season: 65-11 SU (.855), 39-37 ATS (.513)
This Week: 0-0 SU (.000), 0-0 ATS (.000)
