WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN FLORIDA HAS THE BALL
Tim Tebow has thrown multiple touchdowns in nine-straight games, marking the longest streak of his career. Dating back to the Kentucky game, Tim Tebow has not thrown an interception in 113 attempts. He is one of two players nationally to have thrown two-or-less interceptions this season (min. 225 att.). Against Alabama, Jeff Demps had his seventh touchdown carry of the season, which leads all running backs. Demps' average touchdown run this year is 32.7 yards (five of seven 36-or-more yards and three 40-or-more yards). Percy Harvin has scored a touchdown in each of the last 14 games he has played in, a streak that leads the nation. Four of Harvin's team-leading seven touchdown receptions this year have come on his last 16 catches.
Freshman Travis Lewis is the leader of the OU defense, with 135 tackles on the season. Lewis also has 12 TFLs, four interceptions and 3.5 sacks. All-American Gerald McCoy had 6.5 sacks and 10 TFLs, while Jeremy Beal leads the team with 14 TFLs. He also adds 8.5 sacks on the season. Lendy Holmes leads the team with five interceptions while being second in total tackles with 79. Keenan Clayton has 76 tackles on the season, while also adding 10 TFLs and 4.5 sacks and six forced fumbles. First-team All-Big 12 member Nic Harris has 64 tackles and six pass break ups.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN OKLAHOMA HAS THE BALL
Brandon Spikes has four interceptions this season against top-25 teams, which is tied for first among all players nationally and is the most by any linebacker in the country. Spikes is one of three linebackers since 1996 to have four interceptions against top-25 ranked teams. He is one of five linebackers in the nation to have two interceptions returned for touchdowns this season. Against South Carolina, Ahmad Black made his sixth interception of the season, which is tied for fourth in school history. His total is tied for fifth nationally this season. Black has returned two for touchdowns this year, which is tied with 15 others for the most in the country. Carlos Dunlap leads the Gators with nine sacks this year, which also leads the SEC. This season, the Gators have 32 sacks after having 15 in 2007. Florida has recorded four sacks in three of the last four games and five times this year.
Leading the most explosive offense in college football this season, Sam Bradford completed 302 of his 442 pass attempts for 4,464 yards with 48 touchdowns and six interceptions en route to winning the Heisman Trophy. He led the nation in passing efficiency and also scored five rushing touchdowns on the year. Bradford's favorite targets were Juaquin Iglesias (1,092 yards, 10 touchdowns), Jermaine Gresham (888, 12), Manuel Johnson (685, 9, 18.0-yard per-catch average) and Ryan Broyles (661, 6 TDs). Chris Brown and DeMarco Murray each rushed for more than 1,000 yards, but the sophomore Murray won't play Jan. 8 because of a ruptured hamstring. Brown has 1,110 yards and 20 TDs on the ground.
Jonathan Phillips has connected on 75 PATs this season, which ranks second nationally. After starting the season 11-for-11 on field-goal attempts, Phillips missed a 42-yard attempt against Alabama. Brandon James is one of six players in the country to return two punts for touchdowns this season. He is second nationally in punt return avg. (13.6) and second in punt return yards (1,126). Chas Henry has averaged 42.8 yards per punt on his 41 kicks this season, which is third in the SEC.
Jimmy Stevens is 8-11 on field goals for the season. His longest field goal of the year was 42 yards. He is second on the team in scoring with 116 points, with 92 points coming on extra points. He missed five PATs this season. Mike Knall averages 36.4 yards per punt, while landing 16 inside the 20 yard line. Murray averages 27.6 yards per kickoff return.

If it weren't for bad luck, Oklahoma RB DeMarco Murray would have no luck at all when it comes to postseason games. Murray will have hamstring surgery on December 22 and miss the title game showdown with Florida. He suffered the injury on the opening kick-off against Missouri in the Big 12 title game. Last year, he missed the Fiesta Bowl with a dislocated knee cap that he suffered in the 11th game of the season.
Florida offensive coordinator Dan Mullen will be the head coach at SEC rival Mississippi State next season, but he will be calling plays for the Gators in the BCS title game.
