Became the Russell Athletic Bowl in the 2012 season.
From 2004-2011, it operated as the Champs Sports Bowl.
From 2001-2003, it was called the Tangerine Bowl.
Prior games were held in Miami as:
the Blockbuster Bowl (1990-1993),
the CarQuest Bowl (1994-1997),
the MicronPC Bowl (1998) and and
the MicronPC.com Bowl (1999-2000).
The original Tangerine Bowl is now the Capital One Bowl and continues to be played in Orlando. |
