Montana Keeps Hold of No.1 Spot in FCS Computer Rankings

Montana stays No. 1 for a third straight week and the top 3 remain unchanged in the FCS Congrove Computer Rankings at CollegeFootballPoll.com. The rankings were released within minutes of the conclusion of Sunday's Eastern Washington-Florida game.

Idle Jackson State stays in the second spot, with North Dakota State still No. 3.

Weber State and Sacramento State both jump South Dakota State, but those three schools are separated by a mere 0.15 ratings points.

Montana State and Holy Cross stay at 7 and 8, respectively, while Princeton and Delaware round out the Top Ten.

Mercer lends off the second ten and Incarnate Word stays at No. 12.

Jacksonville State soars from 19th to 13th, while Samford catapults from 21st to 14th after a 3-27 upset of then-No. 18 Furman. The Paladins dropped to No. 31.

The Big Sky has 4 of the top 7 teams, while the MVFC has 2 of the top 6. The only other conferences represented in the Top Ten are the SWAC, Patriot, Ivy and CAA.

The Bottom Five this week are LIU at 5, Central Connecticut 4, Wagner 3, Drake 2, and Presbyterian 1.
