FCS Weekend Recap - South Dakota State wins Dakota Marker Again, Montana Upset By Idaho

Saturday was a crazy day all across the Division 1 football landscape, including the FCS which saw Idaho score the 30-23 upset win at Montana, and South Dakota State claim its third straight victory in the Dakota Marker Rivalry with a 23-21 win at North Dakota State.

One game remains to be played on Sunday before the weekend is done when Alabama A&M and Arkansas-Pine Bluff meet in St. Louis.

FCS vs. FBS

There will be 118 FBS vs. FCS matchups this season with App State, Army and Marshall each playing two such games, and 115 other FBS schools playing one apiece.

Two of this season's final 8 FBS-FCS matchups took place on Saturday with Gardner-Webb narrowly losing 21-20 at Liberty and Colgate falling 42-17 at Army.

The FBS is 104-8 this year, and 1,678-148 (.919) since we began tracking this in 2003.
