FCS Computer Rankings: Montana Up To 3, Delaware Falls To 6

Only the top two teams, South Dakota State and Montana State, remain the same in the new FCS Congrove Computer Rankings while chaos reigns through the rest of the Top 25.

The Jackrabbits were 33-16 winners at home over rival North Dakota State for a fifth straight time. The Bison fall from 6th to 11th.

The Bobcats were 45-21 winners at home over Northern Arizona.

Montana jumped from 5th to 3rd after a convincing 34-7 win at then-No. 11 Sacramento State. The Hornets drop to No. 20 this week.

Furman stays at No. 4 after a 17-14 win at Chattanooga. The Mocs slip from 14th to 19th.

Austin Peay jumps from 8th to 5th after the Governors prevailed 33-30 at Eastern Kentucky in overtime.

Delaware slips from 3rd to 6th after 33-27 loss at home to Elon, a result that helped create a 5-way tie for first in the CAA.

NC Central rises from 9th to 7th with its 38-24 home win over Norfolk State.

Idaho moves up from 10th to 8th on the heels of a 27-13 win at Northern Colorado.

Villanova leaps from 13th to 9th with the 45-33 win at New Hampshire.

Florida A&M zooms into the top 10 after being ranked 15th a week ago. The Rattlers 42-28 winners at Alabama A&M.

Incarnate Word plummeted from 7th to 15th after a 45-32 upset home loss to Nicholls State.

Tarleton State made a dramatic from from 28th to 16th after crushing 59-17 win win at 1-point favorite Stephen F. Austin.
