Rankings: Alabama Takes Back the Top Spot

After giving up the top spot to Wisconsin and Ohio State for a week each, Alabama has climbed back to No. 1 in the Congrove Computer Rankings, released within minutes of the conclusion of Saturday's final game - a 24-21 upset of previously undefeated Nevada by Hawaii.

Ohio State is 2nd, followed by Notre Dame, USC and Clemson.

Washington narrowly avoided the upset loss on Saturday night and gets rewarded with a jump to No. 6 from No. 11

Clemson is the only school among the top six teams that isn't undefeated.

A trio of 1-loss teams take 7th through 9th with Florida leading Texas A&M and Indiana.

10th-place goes to an undefeated school from the Group of Five conferences - Cincinnati.

Wisconsin is 11th, followed by BYU.

Oregon fell from 4th to 13th on the heels of a 41-38 loss to Oregon State, and Northwestern plunged from 13th to 21st as a result of a 29-20 loss to Michigan State.

The Ducks and Wildcats, along with Nevada and Kent State, lost for the first time over the weekend. Thirteen teams remain unbeaten.

Three teams entered the top 25 with Buffalo at No. 23, Iowa State 24th, and Boise State 25th.

They replace Texas, Auburn and North Carolina.
