North Dakota State romped to a 56-14 season opening win at home over Drake and keeps the top spot in the latest FCS Congrove Computer Rankings, released Sunday after the completion of the weekend's final Labor Day weekend FCS game.

South Dakota State takes a 2-spot drop, undeservedly if we say so ourselves,  the Jackrabbits lost 7-3 at FBS member Iowa on Saturday.

Montana State slides up one spot to the No. 2 position, and Montana rises from 6th to 3rd while Eastern Washington drops from 4th to 5th after a narrow win over Tennessee State.

Jackson State jumps from 10th to 6th after its 59-3 rout of Florida A&M which sent the Rattlers tumbling from 41 to 88. Florida A&M was ranked No. 24 at the start of the season but has been outscored 115-27 in losses to North Carolina and the Tigers.

The top ten is rounded out by Villanova at No. 7, followed by Missouri State, Incarnate Word (UIW) and Holy Cross. UIW jumped 14 spots while Holy Cross moved up 6.

The bottom 5 out of the 130 FCS schools are Stonehill (126),  Idaho State (127),   Wagner (128), Morgan State (129) and Presbyterian (130).
