SEC Football Media Picks LSU To Win Conference Title
Georgia Voted Eastern Division Favorite

LSU is predicted to win the SEC Championship by the media for the first time since 2007. It is the second time since 1992 that LSU has been predicted to win the league title. LSU did win the SEC title in 2007 and went on to the BCS title.
Alabama, the 2011 national champion, is picked 2nd in the Western Division. The Tide received just 72 1st-place votes compared to LSU's 139.
Georgia picked up 132 1st-place votes in the Eastern Division ballopting, compared to South Carolina's 72.
An SEC team has captured the last six BCS titles.
A record 222 voters particpated in the SEC media days poll. The previous high was 177 voters in 2010.
