Sun Belt Conference Announces Preseason Coaches Poll

CFP – The Sun Belt Conference coaches' preseason poll has been released and FIU received 5 of the 9 1st-place votes. Troy, which was listed No. 1 on two coaches' ballots, was the only other team to garner more than one 1st-place vote.

Troy and FIU shared the title last year, but the Golden Panthers defeated the Trojans 52-35.

Troy has won shared five straight Sun Belt crowns.

Western Kentucky, which was voted last on all nine ballots last year, picked up one 1st-place nod while Arkansas State received the other.
