Big 12 Players of the Week

Irving, Texas - Graham Harrell (Texas Tech), Todd Reesing (Kansas), Nathan Peterson (Oklahoma State) and Jeremy Maclin (Missouri) have been named Big 12 Conference Players of the Week as selected by a media panel. Harrell (co-offense) is selected for the second time this season and third of his career, Maclin (special teams) for the second time of the 2007 campaign, while Reesing (co-offense) and Peterson (defense) are both recognized for the first time.

Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Graham Harrell, Jr, QB, Texas Tech (Ennis, Texas)
Graham Harrell passed for two scores and rushed for another in leading Texas Tech to a 34-27 win over No. 3 Oklahoma. Harrell completed 47 of 72 attempts for 420 yards in becoming the fifth player in NCAA history to throw for over 5,000 yards in a season.

Todd Reesing, So, QB, Kansas (Austin, Texas)
Todd Reesing connected on 21 of 26 passes for 253 and four touchdowns in three quarters of action in Kansas' 45-7 win against Iowa State. Reesing completed 19 of his first 20 attempts with the lone incompletion being a pass he threw away.

Defensive Player of the Week
Nathan Peterson, Sr, DB, Oklahoma State (Tulsa, Okla.)
Nathan Peterson enjoyed a career night in Oklahoma State's 45-14 victory against Baylor. Peterson matched a career-best with three sacks and tallied a personal-high five tackles for loss in a six-tackle performance for the Cowboys.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Jeremy Maclin, Fr, KR, Missouri (Kirkwood, Mo.)
Jeremy Maclin recorded a 99-yard kickoff return for touchdown, the first for Missouri since 1982, as the Tigers' beat Kansas State, 49-32. Maclin totaled a MU record 360 all-purpose yards in the contest in breaking the NCAA single-season freshman all-purpose yardage record.
