Cal Romps Past Texas A&M
by Mike Mitchell 12/29/06
Marshawn Lynch ran for 110 yards and scored twice in a 45-10 California thumping of Texas A&M in the Holiday Bowl.
After spotting the Aggies a 7-0 lead on their first possession, Cal completely dominated the rest of the game.
QB Nate Longshore threw a TD pass and ran for a score to help the Bears cement their second straight bowl win, and sixth in their last eight tries.
Texas A&M fell to 2-9 in bowl games since 1991, and 0-2 under Dennis Franchione. |
