Like the Owls and Huskies, the Bobcats (6-3, 4-1) are one of the top teams in the MAC. The computer's pointspread prediction for this game has nearly doubled since the preseason.

Boston College (-3.5) by 4.25 over WAKE FOREST - These teams appear to be headed in opposite directions with the Eagles improving and the Demon Deacons collapsing. Boston College is coming off a 16-10 upset of Clemson while Wake is coming off back-to-back losses by 31 points and 48 points, respectively to Virginia Tech and Maryland.

CLEMSON (-4) by 7.38 over N.C. State - Clemson is getting only slightly more than home field advantage from the oddsmakers. The Tigers have taken six straight in the series and have won each of the last three meetings by at least 18 points.

Fau (-2) by 3.66 over WESTERN KENTUCKY - The Hilltoppers have won just 1 of their last 28 games and are 1-32 in their last 33 games vs. FBS opponents.

OREGON (-28.5) by 29.33 over Washington - Washington QB Jake Locker is out with a fractured rib. Not that it would matter that much as Locker has faced three opponents that are currently ranked (Nebraska, Arizona and Stanford) and completed just 28-of-63 for 318 yards with 4 INT's and 2 TD's as his team lost them all by at least 30 points. Oregon is No. 1 in the BCS Standings and its 15 interceptions lead the PAC-10 by a mile and tie for 3rd nationally. Oregon leads the nation in total offense and ranks 35th on defense. Washington ranks 100th in total defense and 70th in offense.

Rutgers is 4-1 all-time vs. the Bulls and has won the last four meetings, including a pair of routs by 30+ points in the last two seasons.

BYU (-19.5) by 17.67 over Unlv - BYU hasn't beaten anyone by more than 6 points, including a downtrodden Wyoming team.

Colorado (-9) by 6.16 over KANSAS - The computer is winless ATS with Kansas this year, but is 5-3 with Colorado. The Buffaloes have been outscored a cumulative 121-17 in three previous road games at Cal, Missouri and Oklahoma. True, those were much tougher opponents than Kansas, but the Jayhawks are 2-2 at home.

Missouri (-7) by 1.82 over TEXAS TECH - I can't help but feel that this pick is a bit shaky, but the computer is 5-2 ATS with Mizzou and 5-3 with the Red Raiders.

Troy (-12) by 9 over NORTH TEXAS - North Texas boasts the Sun Belt's No. 2 defense while Troy brings the league's top offense. The computer is 5-3 ATS with UNT and 4-3 with the Trojans.

The Cougars appear to have righted the ship with 2 straight lopsided wins after hitting a slump following the loss of its 1st and 2nd-string quarterbacks early in the season at UCLA.. To its credit, Houston still ranks 2nd in the conference in passing offense and 13th nationally. The Knights rank 16th in pass defense and 9th in total defense.

Arkansas by 0.51 over SOUTH CAROLINA (-3) - The Razorbacks lead the series 11-7 alltime, but these teams have split the last six meetings. Arkansas leads the SEC in passing offense while the Gamecocks rank last in the league in pass defense.
